World of Warcraft has officially unveiled the Trading Post rewards for October 2024, featuring a range of spooky items perfect for the Hallow’s End season. Players can collect these cosmetic rewards by completing Traveler’s Log tasks and exchanging their Trader’s Tender throughout the month. The highlight of the collection is the Depthstalker mount, a high-tech jellyfish that players can unlock as a free bonus by maxing out their Traveler’s Log for October.
The Trading Post, introduced in Dragonflight, offers rotating cosmetic items purchasable with Trader’s Tender, earned via monthly challenges. As September’s pirate and Brewfest-themed cosmetics make their exit, October introduces several Halloween-inspired items, including the Hand of Reshkigaal mount, the Ragged Harvest Golem transmog set, gothic parasols, and many more. Outside the Halloween theme, players can pick up mounts like the Swift Zhevra or the spooky Soot-Stained Shalewing pet.

Players who max out their Traveler’s Log progress for October will be rewarded with the Depthstalker mount. This eerie jellyfish mount resembles the Protoform mounts from Shadowlands Patch 9.2 and can be used both underwater and in the skies. Blizzard’s decision to provide consecutive mount rewards in both September and October is a welcome surprise, especially as fans found previous Trading Post bonus items underwhelming.
October brings several in-game events, making it easier for players to earn Trader’s Tender. Popular events like Timewalking, Darkmoon Faire, and Brewfest will be available, alongside Hallow’s End starting on October 18. Additionally, World of Warcraft’s 20th Anniversary celebration begins on October 22, providing more ways to complete Traveler’s Log objectives.
Fans may want to save some of their Trader’s Tender for November as Blizzard has confirmed that last year’s class armor and transmog sets will return, no longer restricted by class. This change means any character who can equip the items will have the chance to obtain these much-coveted cosmetics, making November an exciting month for collectors.
